This ready-to-wear collection was released following the SS23 runway show, condensing ten runway looks into a set of four made-to-order accessibly priced garments. Each piece is symbolic of the theme of the runway, designed as an artifact from our impending dystopian future.
A glass water bottle is reimagined as a bag, for a world where crystal clear water is an opulent accessory to flaunt. Elastic bandana masks are constructed with sewn-in air filters to protect from heavy pollution and illness. A ripped and stained sweater with graphic design by German Artist Tim Niebergall reads “FOR THE GOOD DEATH” in English and Arabic. And a pair of knit gloves with blood-stained palms are a literal interpretation of the blood we all have on our hands.
