Set in a future Los Angeles shaped by ecological collapse, the project imagines how architecture might not just serve humans, but nurture the lifecycle of a new species engineered to clean the river. The hatchery follows the full life cycle of the Medusa, a synthetic organism designed to thrive in polluted environments. It questions whether the systems that are causing collapse can be trusted to help reverse it.
